Extra Movement in the X, Y, or Z-Axis

The placement of the Viki controller can interfere with print quality. Do not rest the Viki controller on top of the electrical enclosure. Doing so can cause electrical interference.

Are the following unusual movements occurring?

  • The X or Y-axis moving all the way to the left or forward during a print and then returning to printing
  • The Z-axis unexpectedly moves down into the print

These are both indicators that electrical interference between the Viki controller and the electrical box is present. Move the Viki controller away from the electrical box.
