Sometimes large parts can be hard to remove from the print surface. By adding a thin layer of Elmer's Extreme glue stick to the print bed the parts will be much easier to remove when the bed is cooled. Give it a try and let me know your experience.

Mike Battaglia Official comment Hi Daniel, Matthew's original post was likely intended to assume you are using a PrintinZ or Buildtak surface.
Buildtak is what we used to sell but have switched to our own PrintinZ surface which is more durable and has a longer life. Sometimes large prints can stick TOO well. We recommend using a spatula around all sides of the print instead of trying to pry it off from one side. Matthew is suggesting to add a glue stick to your toolkit on top of PrintinZ for even easier print removal.

I don't recommend using a spray. Any spray that contacts the wheels, belts, bearings, threaded rod, and other moving parts will make them sticky and will cause poor movement of the motion platform.
I also don't recommend using the bare aluminum build plate as a build surface. For most feedstock materials the best results will be realized by printing on the PRINTinZ surface. Daniel Calderon I have been using PLA only for my prints.
What is the difference between PrintinZ skin and the BuildTak? Will a full size PLA flat-bottom print (600mm x 600mm)just pop off the build plate if I use one of these skins?
I'm ready to print huge :)
