Perhaps I'm missing something, but it doesn't sound like you annealed any of your test pieces. Their video comparison shows a pretty striking comparison between regular PLA, ABS and annealed APLA vs unannealed APLA.

Given the specs and that video comparison, wouldn't this be the ideal material for use in printing the Open GB cold end extruder housings?
