Power Switch for Raspberry Pi Tablet
The Raspberry Pi doesn't have a power switch, but I just ordered this handy little USB power toggle so that I won't have to unplug the wall adapter when I want to turn the device off after shutting down:

Just got the adapter in the mail and it works like a charm on the tablet. Much easier than getting to the wall outlet. :-D

This is a fantastic and easy solution -- thanks for finding it and sharing it with all other beta backers Micah!

Yes thank you. I was debating about wiring up myself something to do that job but this certainly would be simpler...

No problem! Happy to be of help.

I just corrupted the microSD card on my Raspberry Pi last night using this switch so beware there might be voltage spikes or other badness from this little guy that could hurt the Pi OS. Everything came back up fine with a re-install, so it didn't cause any hardware damage.

That's good to know. I switched to using a 10-inch windows tablet running Simplify3D as my print controller so didn't end up getting a lot of time using the Pi and usb switch.
I can recommend the Windows tablet route though. It's provided very reliable results and it's nice having the bigger display.
