Thoughts on the Raspberry Pi Tablet
I can't say I've ever seen an EMI magnet on a USB cable before but obviously re:3D has a concern over it as there is one on the cable. The USB cable is a bit long, so I will probably end up pulling some of it back into the panduit to tidy things ups, but for now I just wanted to get this thing powered up :)
The power supply for the Raspberry Pi has a relatively short cable, and it would be nice if a convenience plug was included inside the cabinet for it. Not a huge issue, but something that would improve the final product.
Overall the Open GB's fit and polish is really nice, which leaves the tablet's mounting and details like the power supply and the USB cable feeling like they should be refined a bit more... but then I did ask for an Alpha so I fully expected to have to tweak details like this :)

It seems that my Table Holder was assembled backwards. Solving that goes a fair ways towards solving my complaint that the Tablet seemed stuck off the side of the Open GB in a very vulnerable manner...

Here is what its supposed to look like:

Note that with the bracket flipped around, the Tablet Holder can fold back against the side of the OpenGB, where its much more protected.
It also solves the odd issue of the bracket having that weird jog in front of the Open GB case the way it was previously.

Great powers of deduction, Shawn!
The photo above displays that the hinge mount should be flush with the front of the bot, where the OpenGB assembly you received was incidentally flipped.
Additionally, we made note of this for our assembly & shipping team to ensure that all future bots will have the correct orientation for the part.
To provide more information on how this should look on an OpenGB, we've got an Assembly Guide on Wevolver.
