Encoder Addition

Hi,

I am required to track the nozzle location of the Gigabot printer and so was looking at installing encoders onto the stepper motors which come with it. The encoders need to output data in XML and I was wondering if anyone knows a suitable encoder or another option that I could take.

  I would love to hear if you have found a solution for tracking the nozzle location. I have also been looking at this Bluetooth enabled DRO as one possible low cost solution. What do you think?
