Sounds like they have added a lot of improvements.
It will be interesting to see if the "Continued improvements to the slicing engine for automatically handling models with slight defects or mesh errors" includes code to resolve the long standing complaint that Simplify3D does not handle thin model sections well at all. There really is not conceivable situation where a thin model section should result in nothing being printed...

Matthew Fiedler After further investigation I found the profiles that were added for Gigabot are not as complete as those found on our Wiki site.
I recommend not using the Simplify3D .fff profiles but rather use the re:3D .fff profiles found here:
