  Nice.  I like that you used the printer to solve the problem. Our solution was simpler and faster (and probably cheaper), but not nearly as elegant. We have almost zero friction on the big reels. Is that an issue in your solution?

  The first iteration of the spool holder was too big and did not allow room for the spool to rotate freely. Once I reduced the size a bit there seems to be little friction in the system.
