Wondering if this is the electronics board used by the openGB project

I am a kickstarter backer of the original Gigabot so I am a couple generations behind but would like to have the ability to add in the features openGB is working towards.
The board that was shipped with the ogb units was the azteeg x3 pro. For the touch screen controller we are using a raspberry pi3 with the 7" pi foundation touch screen.
Thanks for clearing that up. Is the viki completely left out then since it would be redundant with the touchscreen now?
With the choice of the Azteeg X3 Pro are some of the future add on plans no longer viable? Reading through the breakdown of what each board has to offer there are many things that were originally planned with the initial board design that Patrick talked about and the Azteeg X3 Pro.

The X3 Pro doesnt mention anything about the ability to have
-Stepper motor fault detection
-Nozzle crash detection
-Humidity and Temp sensors for the print chamber
-Stepper drivers running at 1/32 microsteps
At the same time it doesnt mention anything about filament detection but from the Monthly hangouts it looks like that has been implemented (on a endstop input?)
The scope of the project features wise was reduced over time on the board side, we are currently still evaluating the filament detection on the pi interface since it was originally written in marlin to only work with touch screens such as the viki. For the humidity/temp sensing that was in testing with the original edition of the board (also named the gigaboard) which was then abandoned due to the fact that the azteeg x3 pro had everything we already needed in a board including the 1/32 micro stepping . As far as the motor fault detection and nozzle crash we were not able to get those working. We did leave the vikis out on the shipped units though it is possible to install one since all of the require code is already implemented in the firmware, but we wanted that to be the users option since they already had the pi screen.
Understandable to not redesign the wheel for a few features although I feel they would definitely have been great for a printer of this scale.
With the direction of openGB being community driven can you expand on the restrictions this Azteeg creates on developing the following:
For humidity/temp sensing are there available analog pins?
For filament detection are spare endstop headers being used or specific servo pins? The difference being if endstops are being used this gives a user at least 3 more filament detection stops.
A breakdown of how many digital pins/analog pins remain on the board might be useful so users can gauge what is possible.

for humidity and temp I had actually got the code to where I could send an M command and get a temp and humidity back using a DHT11 sensor. I am currently trying to get all of that code posted online for everyone in the community so I will let you know when that is up but the basic concept was just take from this forum post from the reprap forums and all it uses is a digital sensor.
For the filament detection we already have that in the code available on the wevolver it is just limit switches so all you have to do is call the specific pins which can be end stop pins.
I just uploaded the code to the gigaboard page on wevolver all of the changes were done in the marlin_main.cpp page and can be implemented in other versions of marlin
Great to hear and will definitely take a look to see what I can get working. When it comes to the code for the viki is that posted somewhere? From what I see in ultralcd there is nothing related to the viki side of things.
This is particularly useful for users to add there own prompts and menu options as desired
no there is nothing like this for the viki I assume it would be similar. I set it up where it was just a general M code command in my code so I could call it from the terminal on pronterface and would receive feedback with the temp and humidity.
Sorry I meant is the source code that re:3d has developed for the Viki lcd open to the community or would users be developing it from scratch?
On the re3d wiki we have all of the versions of marlin available which have the viki set to our current configuration in the them. All of the open gigabot code is housed on its wevolver page.
