Built an F18 cockpit mock up using 3d printed parts with the Gigabot 3.0. Project took over a yr to complete. Materials I used were wood , aluminum , mild steel. The interior of the cockpit composed of switches Plexiglass and over 100 3d printed parts using the Gigabot. Over 120 hrs of CAD process brought the many shapes I designed for 3d printing. many hours of test fitting and re printing to get scale right so parts fit correctly. Otter cockpit was painted A Fighter weapon scheme such as Top Gun instructors fly. The whole cockpit was built on wheel castors for easy moving. This cockpit was built for Virtual Reality Air Combat training.

Ben Gimbert All flight controls and some buttons work and light up but in VR all switches, MFDs and buttons work.
