x-axis stepper motor problem

Hi,

The x-axis stepper motor on my gigabot3+ has crapped out (I think). The motor just moves back and forth in tiny increments instead of the way it should be moving. I've uploaded a video here so that you can see what exactly the motor is doing when trying to home the x-axis. Is this something that requires a motor replacement? I have placed an order for a replacement motor.

I have not given the motor very much use, either. Any ideas why the motor might be crapping out without much use?

  Hi Daniel,

  I think the connector on the back of the motor has come loose or there is a loose pin in the connector. Please send an email to support@re3d.org and we will get you up and printing!
