Sustainable, Easily Obtained, and Ideal
PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol-Modified) is a sustainable material with excellent bed adhesion properties. Most commonly used to produce water bottles, PETG is recyclable and easily obtained.
Its temperature settings and ease of printing without an enclosure make it ideal for use as a breakaway support material for PLA. Watch how nicely PETG bonds with PLA, and how easily it breaks away! (And say hello to Major Paddy, who can't break away without a little fetch time.)
