    Sigbjørn,

Does it do the same thing and go to the wrong place when you force it into filament detection? You can force it into filament detection by going to Prepare/Tune-> Change Filament-> Change Filament E1/E2. I looked at the firmware and your configuration is correct. The only time I had an issue with the printer not following the filament detection script I had to reflash the firmware.

    Hi Sigbjørn!

I am surprised to hear that your Gigabot moves to X300 and Y300 during filament change. That position corresponds to the center of the bed for a regular bot and just front of center for an XL or XLT.

The "Home" position for Gigabot is X=0 and Y=612 for a Regular and Y=772 for XL and XLT machines (Back Left corner for all machines when facing the Gigabot nameplate).

One caveat to be aware of is that you must home the machine when you first turn on the power before changing filament. If you do not home Gigabot then it does not know where it is and may go to strange places when attempting to change filament.

The code you identified is the correct place. Please also remember the X0 and Y0 position is the front left corner of the bed.

Let me know if that helps. If you can send us a short video of the filament change routine that would also help.
